The Streetlights in downtown May's Lick are paid for by voluntary
contributions from the residents. The May's Lick Lion's Club keeps
the contributions in a fund and draws from it to pay the utility bill
for the lights, and for replacement bulbs and other maintenance. Since
this is the only source of funds for keeping the lights, it is essential
